Online anatomy resources for HYMS students

There are currently technical difficulties in accessing Anatomy TV through NHS Athens accounts but don't worry, we do have access to some other resources.

Acland's Anatomy is our premier anatomy resource, which you can access at http://libsearch.hull.ac.uk/catalogue/e1001017

There are also free resources available at http://www.getbodysmart.com/ap/site/resourcelinks/links.html

Study spaces available to HYMS students [UPDATE]

There are a number of spaces available to HYMS students for study in and you may not be aware of all of them, so here's a quick guide to what's out there for the exam period.

University of York:

The University of York library operates 24/7 and has a handy guide to where seating is available and what sort of study spaces are available at http://www.york.ac.uk/library/study/availability/. There are also a variety of general study spaces available around the University of York and these are detailed at http://www.york.ac.uk/library/study/university-study-spaces/.

University of Hull:

The University of Hull library operates 24/7 until 1 July after which it is open 7 days a week but for vacation hours of 8.00-5.30. From 19 May 2015, 2nd Floor West in the Library will join the Reading Room as a silent study space. Availability of silent study space will be displayed on the digital signage on the lower floors of the library.

There are also spaces available at the Foss and Larkin 24 hour PC centres and there are other open rooms at Hull, though some of these may occasionally be unavailable as they may be used for teaching or examinations. More details at http://www2.hull.ac.uk/ICT/pc_finder.aspx.

If you are based at Scarborough on a placement you may also try the Keith Donaldson Library at the University of Hull's Scarborough campus but remember to bring your Hull student card. Opening hours are available at http://campusinfo.scar.hull.ac.uk/campus-connect/kdl-opening-hours/.

Spaces are also available at the NHS libraries, you can find the opening times at http://libguides.hull.ac.uk/medicine/membership.
