Additional study space at York

In order to provide additional study space during the University of York Library refurbishment, the New Building Student Study Centre at the rear of 5 Main Street in Heslington village has been remodelled (click here for a map).

The building is wireless-enabled, and furnished with study tables and chairs for around 130 people. Space is available for individual study as well as workspace for small groups. A common room area has been provided with informal seating and vending machines for drinks and snacks.

The building is open 8.00am-midnight daily during term time, starting from Monday 26th April 2010. Reception cover is provided by the Directorate of Facilities Management.
