New University of Hull Reading Room open

·         The new Reading Room on the first floor of the east building is now OPEN!

This is the first new space in the redeveloped BJL to be finished.  The Reading Room contains the High Demand Collection, current journals, reference and media.  It is designed for individual silent study.

Do come and see for yourself, and get a taste of what the whole of the Library will be like when the redevelopment is complete.  We think you'll agree that it looks stunning.

For the time being, access to the Reading Room is via the south staircase at the far end of the decant area on the ground floor.  It is clearly signed.  There is lift access from the lift by the Reception.
