MoreBooks in February
Throughout February the Library at The University of York will be running a MoreBooks scheme, encouraging our users to request we buy more copies of the books they want. A MoreBooks button (image attached) will appear alongside book titles in YorSearch and all users need to do is click it and enter their details in the form. We will then purchase an additional copy of the book - we’ll try and buy e-books wherever possible to improve availability.
The button will only appear beside non e-book titles we currently have in stock, but the form will include a link to the Suggest items for purchase page if users wish to request a new title.
MoreBooks will initially be available throughout February but we hope to repeat the scheme again later this year. Material requested via the MoreBooks scheme will be purchased using the Information Bundle money (ie not from departmental funds).
