UoY Flexible Loans Consultation for HYMS

The Library at The Universty of York introduced Flexible Loans on 1st October 2012 and as part of our commitment to continuous improvement we are now seeking feedback on specific aspects of the service.

As Library users who are frequently away from the University campus, the Library would like to consult with members of HYMS on your experience of the new loans service. In particular we would like to hear your views on the issue of returning requested items to the Library. As a request can be placed at any time throughout the year, we recognise that problems may arise when users are away from campus for an extended period of time e.g. during research leave, while on field work or placement, whilst attending conferences, and during vacations.

A group consultation will allow us to discuss the issues and to explore views on how best the library might balance the needs of both borrower and requestor. The Library would like to invite any staff and students within the School to attend the following session:
