What’s going on?
• Temporary electrical and fire
alarm services are being installed in the book decant area on the ground floor
of the south wing. The appointed shelving company will start installing
the floor track for the mobile shelving next week and we expect to start moving
stock from the 3rd and 4th floors week commencing 25
March 2013
• The west staircase by the
lifts has been removed and the hoarding around this will remain in place as
work commences on filling in the voids on the 1st floor
• Additional hoardings will be
erected throughout the building as various work packages start. Some
items have been relocated to accommodate this and directional notices are in
place. Please ask any member of staff if you need assistance locating
items
