University of Hull, Brynmor Jones Library redevelopment update
What’s going on?
· The 1st floor of the tower has been partially handed
over and is now open. This area contains 48 PC desks, 24 reading desks
and soft seating as well as an information point. The ‘bridge’ which
links this floor and the east building is due to open in the middle of June.

The information
point on the 1st floor will be used as the temporary book return
point once the current entrance and ground floor area close in mid June.
More information about this will be given next week
Work is continuing on the new south entrance which is
due to open mid June, along with the new lifts, new staircase and Welcome Desk
